I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you, to everyone involved in this project. Our 360 participating brands, the patrons who shopped til their hands fell off & donated individually, Vampira Voom / Bad Ampitude, Heather Smithson & Kehl Razor / Depraved Nation, Xiola Linden / Linden Labs, Jessica Lyon / Firestorm, all of the bloggers who pushed the info across hundreds of websites / feeds, AngelRed Couture customer base, friends & family, our Live DJs & hosts none of this would have been possible without YOU!
You have all made a HUGE difference in Lexi’s life and its incredibly heart warming to see so many people, come together as one, all different walks of life, residing in many countries, speaking different languages but we all shared 1 common mutual concern and that is the health and well being of Lexi Zelin. Literally a worldwide support team for someone who has impacted many over the years, beautiful, THIS is why I am proud to be a SecondLife resident. You all have restored faith in humanity, brought us all closer together and its just … I am speechless as I sit here reflecting on the past 2 weeks.
The Lexi Project is now closed, but the support does not stop here! TLP creators, please check group notices, I have sent out a copy of Donation Kiosks if you wish to place them on your land. If you already have one out, no need to pick it up, tis the same copy. If you are not inside our group and would like a copy of this kiosk, please feel free to send me a IM, I am happy to pass one over. [Toxxic Rhiannyr] We encourage everyone, if you wish to continue the support, please do so, as this is only the beginning of Lexi’s battle. She returns on Wednesday for her 2nd go at chemo, in total she must do this for 6 months. So while the road is long, I believe her support efforts will continue as so many people have been inquiring about how to keep this going. Amazing! Many people have asked about continuing support for Lexi after our project ends and / or event support. The Donation kiosks that are around at many places have been bumped from the AngelRed Group notices, as its been longer then 14 days since she posted those, but Ill see if that is something she can make another notice for. Creators / Event organizers are welcome to place a split script in your items, directing funds to her main account, Lexi Zelin. Our event account was created so we could easily track our sales from the Lexi Project venue, after the event is over it will be closed down. You all can run your own independent support efforts, just like we did. The idea to open the Lexi Project, was just that, an idea I had after many people asked me if there was something going to be done inworld. There is no one stopping you from doing the same thing or starting something on a smaller scale from your brand or event. I have heard from many TLP brands that have sections in their store, set up for splitting funds to Lexi, many marketplace stores also. We just want to be clear, that none of those efforts are dropped under the Lexi Project name or logo, as it has nothing to do with our event.
The Lexi Project will be over, Sunday night, we will begin returning items on Monday.

Today was a very, long day, filled with Live Music, Dancing, Donations & Fun!
Our party kicked off at 10 am slt and we just closed it out about 10 minutes ago at 12am slt!
I would like to personally thank all the DJs & Hosts that came out today, supported our cause by not only donating their time, but 100% of their tips to the Lexi Project! Our final total in tips raised is 112,402L! Pretty amazing huh? I think so too! Couldn’t have asked for a better crowd of supporters and performers!
With this special Live music event our new Grand Total for the whole shabang to date is
2,415,405L which roughly converts to about US$ 9,779.27.
We cannot thank everyone enough for all the support and helping hands throughout our efforts to help Lexi with her out with her situation and stand as one, in the fight against cancer. The Lexi Project will close its doors, Sunday August 9th, but the support will not stop there! A number of our participating brands have items placed for sale at their store & marketplaces, which donate directly to Lexi, lots of them also have the Donation Kiosks rezzed on their land! I believe this support effort will last for weeks following our event & its greatly appreciated by Lexi.
Now, as posted in our previous event plans for this DJ event, we wanted to try and pull off a 2 day spree of Live entertainment, but due to some unforeseen circumstances, that are beyond the control of Heather or I, we have decided to cancel Saturday’s time slots for DJs & Hosts. We are deeply sorry for the inconvenience this might cause, we know many who are confirmed for this day will be bummed out as they have expressed their excitement for being able to take part in such a strong push of support. We will however, still have Bad Ampitude perform a tribute show of Pink at 2pm – 4pm slt.
With that being said, you all still have a day to swing in, shop our venue, 360 designer stores, all sales 100% to Lexi until Sunday and we will leave the donation kiosks out for anyone interested in donating directly. Many stores have refreshed their stalls with new items, so it is def something to swing back in for, might find something you cannot slive without!
